| Why? Because there's no point in making an LJ look like a blog if I'm probably going to ditch it and make a real blog.
For those of you just tuning in, SUP, the Russian company who bought LJ from the lovably incompetent people of SixApart, has apparently decided to screw LiveJournal over with their own selfish decisions and no longer really care what their userbase is. I for one, am not really going to stand for it, so I'm taking my business elsewhere and letting my subscriptions and crap run their course before expiring, without renewal.
Though of course I'm not sure I really have the audience, real or potential, for a proper blog to be worth setting up and doing, so I'm going to ask my good friends here a question.
What medium are you guys moving to?
This will be my second-to-last entry in addition, with my final one dictating where I'll be moving to. Unless our comrades at SUP decide I'm part of the problem and decide to ban me. Haha, that'd be rich.
Also, no matter where I move, I'll still try to do what I wanted to with my original plans for Project: Blogorays, including reviewing and showing off the excellent anime underdog Figure 17. That show needs some love, people! D:

| Alright, so day one of Project: Blogorays. If you're just tuning in, Project: Blogorays was the idea I had to actually make my journal worth reading and holding discussions in, making it more of a proper blog. As such, when time permits, I'll try to review stuff and offer my opinion, hopefully spurning some conversation in the comments. All the more to talk about, I say! And of course, I got blogorays off XKCD. I mean, it's an awesome comic. If you don't already have the RSS feed on your local aggregator or the syndicated feed (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/syndicated.gif) xkcd_rss) on your friends list, you should fix that immediately.
So firstly, one of the things I'll be discussing are reviews and opinions of animu I just got around to watching. It's a shame, since I already got around to watching Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann a long time ago and actually finished it on time alongside the good populace of /m/, but there's still Code Geass (which I'm woefully behind on) and a rather obscure show called Figure 17. That needs some recognition for sure.
Another important detail I'll be discussing is whatever projects I'm working on at the time. Currently this extends to Clever Pun itself, as well as Tsukuuru Source and Clever RPG. I'm sure you will enjoy me going on about a joint site that lost its joint and part of its purpose, as well as an outdated game system and a game built in it! Oh joy. With any luck, though, I can actually make something worth reading. The fact that I've typed this much already is a good sign that there'll actually be some hope for this attempt at proper blogging after all. Or I could just be typing up what junk my brain throws out, either or. It's too hard to tell! D: I'm not sure if putting smilies in will detract from the blogging atmosphere, though. I'll have to look in on that.
Regardless, I suppose I should talk about how my day has gone so far.
I actually got up at a decent hour, about 9:30 specifically with six hours of sleep (compared to my usual foray of ten hours of sleep and waking up at 1:30 instead), and spent a good hour trying to get my brain in enough decent shape to actually think. After that, I made coffee and chatted with my mother for a little while, particularly of little highlights of the past few days like Britney Spears getting institutionalized again, Project Chanology and its epic win factor (believe me, if there's going to be a raid in the Seattle church, I'm making a mask and going)... And, actually, that's about it. There hasn't been much to talk about, I suppose. I also went and hung up my sun lamp which my mom got me as a gift to help with my seasonal affective disorder, so it's actually a whole lot brighter in here and I can already feel the difference. Why do you think I'm typing so much? :P
Also, I suppose I should write up about my birthday and Christmas, as I never really did that. So much to deal with all at once... Anywho, for my birthday (December 15th for those of you who are really just tuning in). I actually went to a Japanese buffet at the local mall with some of my family, with one of my mom and stepdad's Seagoth friends whose birthday was on the same very day joining along as well. It was rather fun. We talked a lot, and were generally merry. A good way to celebrate overall -- I'd love to do that again. Naturally, though, with the proximity of my birthday to Christmas, and the fact that a lot of people had plans during my birthday, it was split between the two occasions and a mini-birthday party was held at the Christmas Eve party in addition. Aside from that, it was quite fun. Plenty of fun and useful gifts all around, and for once I was able to contribute as well (to some degree). Then there was the Christmas Day party with my stepdad's side of the family (is this getting confusing enough for you?) came about, and that was actually quite entertaining as well! Especially since I was able to tape it. I was quite pleased with how it ended up, especially considering what sorts of crap was happening before (and ultimately after) the couple of weeks.
( And I suppose I should put the list in a cut so it doesn't get -too- tl;dr... )
There's more to talk about, I'm sure, especially in other fields, but I really should get to rearranging my room which I've really been wanting to do as of late. Not to mention get lunch. @.@; So it'll have to stop there! Once I get more free time, I'll be watching anime and posting up reviews and opinions. And of course take screencaps. What good is anime blogging without screencaps? Same case with Clever RPG and Tsukuuru Source. I'll definitely have to post imagery up of that (as well download links!). Oh, there's so much to talk about, and only so much time to blog...
